The former Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers star was found unconscious in October at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada. Odom, 36, had multiple drugs in his system at the time, according to medical personnel.

No additional details were provided about Odom's current condition.

In November, Odom's estranged wife Khloé Kardashian, said he was "doing better every day," but that it was "going to be a long road."

In the statement, Odom's family said fans' "support has been paramount in helping to uplift us during these past few difficult months."

Odom was transferred from Las Vegas to a Los Angeles hospital in October, at which time his family said he was undergoing an "aggressive" therapy regimen and was "beginning to gradually flourish both mentally and physically."
