Actress Drea De Matteo was among dozens of people who lost their homes after an explosion and raging fire destroyed three buildings in New York City on Thursday.
Matteo, best known for portraying Adriana on "The Sopranos," shared photos of firefighters putting out the blaze on Instagram with the captions "A hole where my NYC home of the last 22 years once stood...RIP 123 2nd Avenue" and "NYC's finest trying to put out the flames to mine n (sic) many others apartments. Speechless..."
The building Matteo called home for more than two decades collapsed completely after plumbing and gas work inside the building next door caused an explosion that sparked a devastating seven-alarm fire in Manhattan's East Village neighborhood. More than two dozen people, including firefighters, were injured in the blaze, and two people remain missing.
