A 1/1000 scale replica of comet 67p/Churyumov-Gerasimenko was displayed as part of the World Science Festival in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Thursday. A European Space Agency spacecraft named "Rosetta" will attempt a first-ever landing on the real Churyumov-Gerasimenko comet in November 2014, after having traveled 3.7 billion miles since the spacecraft's launch in 2004.

The dynamic installation, along with this year's World Science Festival, will be on display in Brooklyn Bridge Park until June 1st.
