Jimmy Fallon didn't hesitate to get touchy-feely with Donald Trump earlier this week — but the late-night host was a little more reserved with Hillary Clinton.

"Welcome, welcome, thank you so much, it is great to have you here," Fallon told Clinton, as he teased the Democratic candidate by putting on a surgical mask.

Clinton, who's been dogged by health rumors — particularly after an early departure from a Sept. 11 tribute which her campaign later attributed to walking pneumonia — cracked up and gave Fallon a high five. The "Tonight Show" host then jokingly lathered his hands in hand sanitizer.

The Clinton interview was taped on Friday. Later in the segment, Fallon asked Clinton about the challenges of campaigning and appearing both friendly and as "the serious Hillary" who will protect the country.

"It's especially tricky for women. It just is," Clinton said, adding that you can't "talk about ISIS with a big grin on your face."

"It is a constant balancing act. How do kind of keep the energy and the positive spirit while taking seriously what you need to?" she said.

The full interview will air Monday night.
