The intermittent outages experienced by some Twitter users Tuesday morning were resolved as of 11:50 ET, according to the site's Status blog.
Those nostalgic for the early days of Twitter, when the Fail Whale breached so often it wasn't even news, may have pleasantly surprised by an off-and-on inability to access the their feeds. Everyone else effected by the outages are no doubt annoyed. If you didn't experience any Twitter difficulties however, your friends whining about Twitter on Facebook are not making it up. Shortly after 10 a.m. ET Tuesday morning, Twitter confirmed:
Some users may be experiencing an issue with our service. Our engineers are currently working on this issue.
Elsewhere on the Internet, Apple users may have trouble accessing iTunes and the Games Center, according to the Apple Services, Stores, and iCloud status page on Apple's website, where you can check for the latest status.
