Two of Basketball's Best-Known Competitors on Opposite Sides of Debate
Two of basketball’s most fiery competitors are facing off tonight far away from the hardwood.
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and former Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight are attending tonight’s debate to spin for opposing candidates.
“I'm a citizen like all of us who's concerned about what happened, I've been apolitical my entire adult life but I think this election's different and it concerns me, I just don't think Donald Trump would be, would be a good President, and I think Hillary will be, could be a good President,” Cuban, a Clinton supporter, said.
Cuban said he doesn’t know if Trump can handle the pressure, telling NBC News' Kelly O’Donnell, “He kinda freaked out at my tweet so it's hard to say.”
Knight, a Trump supporter, told NBC News’ Hallie Jackson that he advised the GOP nominee: “Just go out there and be as smart as he is because he is very smart. Just use his intelligence.”
