NBC Nightly News on March 24th was sponsored by a sole advertiser, Fidelity Investments. Monday's broadcast featured only four commercials, totaling two minutes instead of the usual six and one-half minutes. The reduced commercial load allowed Nightly News to add longer pieces and expanded news segments to the broadcast.
