NBC's Cairo producer answers your questions

As the protests in Egypt continue, Charlene Gubash, NBC's longtime Cairo producer answered your questions about Egypt and what to expect next.

Protesters demanding President Hosni Mubarak's ouster packed Cairo's Tahrir Square by the tens of thousands Friday, waving Egyptian flags, singing the national anthem and cheering, appearing undaunted and determined after their camp withstood two days of street battles with regime supporters trying to dislodge them.

As the standoff between the protesters and Mubarak's regime continues, NBC News' longtime Cairo producer, Charlene Gubash, responded to reader questions about the protests. Gubash, an American originally hailing from Minnesota, has lived and worked in Cairo since 1985.

She responded to readers' questions about the swift turn of events in her adopted hometown, who the protesters are and what to expect next. Replay her chat below.
