A Southwest Airlines jet has been taken out of service at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut after a truck delivering water, ice and other provisions clipped a wing.

Marilee McInnis, a spokeswoman for Southwest, says the accident occurred early Thursday morning.

She says the flight was headed to Nashville, Tenn., and that damage to the plane is being assessed. The airline's website says the flight, which was due out of Bradley at 8:20 a.m., was canceled.
