Very Last Word: GOP senator actually said this to Newtown families

Republican Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma suggested the gun debate had nothing to do Newtown families. Seriously. He said, ”I think it’s so unfair of the administration to hurt these families, to make them think this has something to do with them when, in fact, it doesn’t.”

On Tuesday’s Very Last Word, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell discussed Inhofe’s recent comment and called it one of the “cruelest” things a senator could say.
