Acclaimed Food Network chef Marcela Valladolid shared two quick and delicious dishes to create this fall with TODAY hosts Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotb. The noted Mexican chef created queso fundido, a classic Mexican appetizer made with melted cheese and spicy chorizo. For dessert she created an apple slab pie with cinnamon, a fruit and spice very popular during the fall season.

Valladolid will be participating in the 9th Annual Food Network and Cooking Channel New York City Wine and Food Festival that will take place during the weekend of October 13th through the 16th. One hundred percent of the festival's net proceeds will be completely donated to help fight hunger with organizations such as No Kid Hungry and Food Bank for New York City.

There will be over 90 events throughout New York City and Chef Valladolid will be among the 400 participating chefs, winemakers, spirit producers and culinary personalities that will help out for the cause.
