"This is the big lesson I've learned: Make sure that you never use an excuse for why you are not achieving something. Remember that you find a way to learn and to improve who you are."

Spanish chef and humanitarian José Andrés started the World Central Kitchen, which "uses food to empower others." Andrés said he believes that transforming the foods people have access to will provide answers to problems that plague lower-class communities like obesity and even social mobility.
