NEW YORK, NY -- With more than 20 years on the stage, Pablo Francisco has lived the life many comedians aspire to: he has three Comedy Central specials, “They Put It Out There,” “Ouch,” & “Bits and Pieces,” has performed on the late night circuit including appearances on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, and did a season as a cast member on the sketch comedy show “Madtv.”

Known for his impressions from cultural references to box office celebrities, the comedian, whose parents are Chilean, sat down with MSNBC Producer Brandi Kellam on stage at New York City’s Gotham Comedy Club. He spoke about his latest projects and the welcoming response of the New York city crowd.

“New York is a perfect place to try out new material, you got all kinds of different cultures here.”

During the interview, Francisco also revealed what it was like growing up in a Latino household and the convenient place on his body where he keeps his performance notes.

Working on material for a new comedy special, Francisco will be back in New York at Levity Live in West Nyack this coming May.
