Additional nuggets inside the NBC/WSJ poll

Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow

Bill and Hillary Clinton are the two most popular political figures in our NBC/WSJ poll:

Bill Clinton: 54%-26% positive/negative score

Hillary Clinton: 51%-31% positive/negative

But Bill’s numbers are better among men (54%-23% vs. Hillary’s 44%-37%), as well as independents (50%-26% to Hillary’s 34%-39%). But Hillary’s positive/negative numbers among women are sky-high: 58%-25%.

Money can’t buy you love, but it can buy you happiness

Among respondents with household income above $75,000, 65% describe themselves as happy and content (either an “8,” “9,” or “10” on a 10-point scale), compared with just 36% who have incomes below $30,000.

Tea Party supporters AREN’T happy and content

Just 40% of self-identified Tea Party supporters are happy and content (either an "8," "9," or "10"), versus 50% of all adults who are in the survey.

Who are these people???

And only 5% of all respondents have positive feelings about BOTH the Democratic and Republican parties.
