Biographer A. Scott Berg sees President Obama's response to the crisis in Syria as being "very Wilsonian."
He argues that the president's "reasoned" approach has allowed the possibility for other solutions to come forth, alluding to the recent proposal by the Russians to have Syria dismantle and get rid of its chemical weapons program.
"This couldn't have happened had we just kind of lurched into an attack," Berg said.
More than just Syria, Berg says what drew him to write his book was the fact that "everything that is going on in the world today... really went back to Woodrow Wilson."
