Texas high school stabbing was gang-related, say cops

A fatal stabbing at a Texas high school on Wednesday appears to have been prompted by a gang rivalry, investigators said.

Seventeen-year-old Joshua Devon Broussard was killed and three others were injured in the altercation before school at Spring High School.

A statement from the Harris County Sheriff's Office said Luis Alonzo Alfaro, 17, has been charged with Broussard's murder and is currently at the Harris County Jail.

No more charges are expected in the case, the statement said.
