Eviction of 200 Families Leads to Violent Clashes in Brazil

A bus torched by protesters sits in front of the Municipal Theater after a repossession of a building inhabited illegally by the FLM (Front Fight for Housing) social movement, in the city center of Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Tuesday.

The eviction of 200 families from the building led to violent clashes. Protesters set at least one bus ablaze while police fired rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades in an effort to disperse the crowd.
