Thousands of Buddhist monks participated in a mass alms-offering ceremony in Bangkok's shopping district on Sunday. They helped collect supplies and dried foods for Buddhist monks and civil servants working in the troubled southern provinces of Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and Songkhla.
