Bobby Brown says Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend, Nick Gordon, can't visit her in the hospital until he explains what happened the day she was found unresponsive in a bathtub.

"Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe. At least not desperate enough to inform Bobby Brown, in writing, what happened to Bobbi Kristina," Christopher Brown, one of Bobby Brown's attorneys, told E! in a statement. Gordon’s lawyers, Randy Kessler and Joe Habachy, said in a statement later Monday that their client has made statements to investigators when asked, but “Mr. Brown is not law enforcement.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston, was found in her Georgia home Jan. 31. Police have said that Gordon was performing CPR when help arrived. Brown's lawyer said Sunday that Gordon was presented the "opportunity to potentially visit Bobbi Kristina," but "he declined to meet the terms of any possible visit." Later, Gordon's lawyers said in a statement that they had advised the young man not to meet the conditions.

Gordon's lawyers have said repeatedly that he has offered to meet with Brown, rather than argue through lawyers, but that Brown has denied the request. Christopher Brown's statement said that because Gordon had failed to spell out what happened to Bobbi Kristina, "there is no reason for any additional discussion with him."

Gordon was taken in by Houston when he was 12 years old, but never formally adopted. After Houston's death, Gordon and Bobbi Kristina Brown claimed to be engaged, but her father insists they were never married.
