Quiznos plans to open 15 of its sandwich shops in Kuwait under a master franchise deal.
The chain said Tuesday that it is working with Foodco Inc. because of its restaurant brand knowledge and prior experience in Kuwait.
"Foodco has a clear understanding of local consumer trends and preferences," Quiznos International Chief Development Officer Lee Vala said in a statement.
The companies said Quiznos will be able to meet Kuwait customers' demands for healthy food options, convenient ordering and delivery and a diverse menu.
Denver-based Quiznos plans to broaden its reach to more than 40 countries and territories over the next two years, including Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Central and South America.
Last month Quiznos said Greg MacDonald would become its new CEO, replacing founder and former CEO Rick Schaden, who remains as chairman.
Quiznos has almost 4,000 restaurants.
