A man accused of fatally shooting four young men in the city’s bloodiest crime in a decade was arrested and charged with murder.

Calvin Carnes Jr., 19, was arrested Friday night after police tracked him down to a coastal area of southeastern Massachusetts, officials said.

Carnes also is charged with armed robbery in the Dec. 13 slayings, according to police.

Robert B. Turner, 19, was arrested earlier and charged with four counts of being an accessory after the fact and identical gun charges.

Both men are scheduled for arraignment Monday in Dorchester District Court.

The victims were in the basement of the house, which doubled as a recording studio. Three of the men were members of a rap group called Graveside.

Police won’t discuss a motive, although they have said in the past that they do not think the killings were gang- or drug-related.
