A family is in mourning tonight after a toddler drowned at a west El Paso home.

Police say the 2-year-old some how fell into a backyard pool.
It happened at a home on the 7200 block of Lady Hawk court, just after 5:30 this afternoon.
Once officers arrived on the scene they along with family members began giving the little boy CPR.
He was then taken to Las Palmas Medical Center where they also tried to revive him, but he didn't make it.
Homeowners who heard and saw the commotion say the entire neighborhood is in mourning.
Neighbors believe the little boy was visiting the home and did not live there.
