WOODINVILLE, Wash. - Stephanie Escamilla thought the cries for help were coming from her roof. But her husband, who needed help, was much higher up.

"I think that's 40-feet high," said Escamilla who looked up and saw Chris hugging a branch near the top of the Escamillas' back yard fir tree.

Stephanie called 911.

Woodinville firefighters used their "aerial ladder" to send two firefighters up to retrieve Chris.

"I stepped off my ladder to try and reach some of the higher branches to prune them and was too tired to get back down."

Fortunately, Chris didn't miss any days of work.  While the ordeal is over, the ribbing will likely continue for months.
