A winning ticket worth $256 million in the EuroMillions lottery has been sold in the United Kingdom, but the winner or winners have yet to step forward to claim the biggest-ever lottery prize in Europe.
The amount to be claimed in British currency is £161,653,000.
"This is amazing news - we are absolutely delighted that a UK ticket holder has scooped the entire 185 million euro jackpot," a national lottery spokesman told the BBC.
According to the BBC, it the largest lottery prize ever awarded in Europe.
