MSNBC Coverage of memorial services

MSNBC will present “Ronald Wilson Reagan: Farewell,” continuing live coverage of the memorial services for President Ronald Wilson Reagan beginning Wednesday, June 9th through Friday, June 11th. Following are highlights of MSNBC’s programming schedule:

Friday, June 11
Live coverage begins at 9 a.m. ET, with Lester Holt, at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., and Chris Matthews anchoring. MSNBC will telecast the departure ceremony and motorcade from the U.S. Capitol at 10:30 a.m. ET, and the National Funeral Service for President Reagan at 11:30 a.m. ET. Following the funeral service, MSNBC will continue to present live coverage throughout the day of the motorcade’s departure from the National Cathedral at 1:45 p.m. ET, the casket’s departure from Washington, D.C., the arrival at Naval Base Point Mugu in California and the motorcade to the Reagan Library at 8:15 p.m. ET, where a private internment service will be held.

11 p.m.-12 a.m. ET Joe Scarborough hosts a special hour featuring highlights and important moments from the day’s coverage.
