-- Olympic organizers say it won't happen during the summer games in Athens.

But bottled water given to a visiting soccer team by an Athens squad was found to have been spiked with a powerful depressant.

Olympics organizers say all food and water for athletes will be subject to random inspections for poisons or performance-enhancing substances.

In the case of the soccer players, a coach was hospitalized for three days after losing consciousness and a player also fell sick.

Greece's Food Inspection Agency says a hypodermic needle was used to inject the drug (haloperidol) into the water bottle.

It's been speculated that the team at the center of the investigation wanted to remain in the lucrative first division and play Greece's top soccer teams. The squad denies any wrongdoing.
