The president is struggling to keep millennials favor in his second-term.

Young Americans’ support of the President Obama has fallen in recent months.

Though they voted for the president in 2-1 margins in the last two elections, millenials now approve and disapprove of the president the same as the rest of the country, according to a new poll.

The new USA Today and Pew Research Center poll found that 45% of 18 to 29-year-old Americans approve of the president’s job, but 46% disapprove. A year ago, more than two-thirds of young Americans approved of him.

The sample size in the poll was small—just 229 young Americans were polled as part of a larger sample—and has a margin of error of +/- 8 percentage points, but it mirrors recent polls findings.

According to a , 49% of 18-34 year old Americans disapprove of Obama’s job performance. Two polls, one from Quinnipiac University and one from the Harvard Institute of Politics poll, found that just 41% of 18-29-year olds approve of the president’s job.
