If you're a fan of Colombian superstar Juanes, you'll be happy to hear a show loosely based on his life is in the making. Grammy winning musician Juanes announced a new TV series, "Persiguiendo el Sol" (Chasing the Sun) is looking to serve "innovative bicultural television content."

According to the news release following the announcement Monday during a television executives conference, the collaboration with TV producer Ben SIlverman came after Juanes contributed original songs to "Jane the Virgin."

With the help of "Narcos" producer Eric Newman, the show will film in both Miami and Colombia. Casting for the show has not yet been announced.
