Colombian sensation Juanes will get to sing a song of his own - en español - at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
"You know, I've been waiting for this moment for many years and we are very excited now that's about to come," said the singer to the Associated Press from his home in Miami.
Juanes will perform the song "Juntos," which means together, which he co-wrote and was produced by well-known Dominican musician and Grammy winner Juan Luis Guerra. The song was made for the Disney movie "McFarland, USA," which follows a group of Latino immigrants who get to be cross country championship contenders.
The singer, who has won 2 Grammys and 19 Latin Grammys, is working on a new album and will tour the U.S. and Latin America in 2016.
