Acclaimed celebrities such as former Miss Universe, Dayanara Torres, Puerto Rican actor Luis Guzmán and Cuban American recording artist Christina Milian, attended Latina magazine's 20th anniversary as part of their seventh annual "Hollywood Hot List" celebration.
For two decades the magazine aimed at American-born Latinas has reported on lifestyle, entertainment, beauty and fashion. For its cover, "Latina" chose to do a photmosaic of the late iconic "Tejana" crossover artist Selena Quintanilla.
"Selena stands out as one of the most beloved Latinas of our generation," the editors wrote. "That’s why she’s the cover image for Latina’s 20th anniversary - transcending age and background to be revered by millennials, old folks, and celebs alike."
Along with many other Latino celebrities, Selena's husband Chris Perez, who has since remarried after her death, attended the Nov. 2nd event in Los Angeles.
The crowd danced to R&B duo Nina Sky amid the celebration of the magazine's achievements.
