The death of a man who was run over by a truck on the tarmac at Boston Logan International Airport was an accident, authorities said Monday night.
The Suffolk County district attorney's office said the man, whose identity wasn't released, was in the cargo area Monday when he was hit by a truck "as it was traveling in reverse in the area of a plane, and it does not suggest that he was struck by a plane."
"At this stage, the fatality appears to be accidental," the district attorney's office said in a statement.
It couldn't immediately be determined whether the man worked for an airline or for the agency that runs airport.
