Here’s the proper venue to kiss the bride — and cover her nose.
The Brightwater Wastewater Treatment Center near Seattle, Wash., is welcoming couples to tie the knot or celebrate their nuptials at their facility. They’re offering a full-catering kitchen, state-of-the-art AV equipment, a dance floor and “beautiful grounds,” according to a Facebook post.
While the happy couple and their guests will be dining and dancing near raw sewage, Brightwater officials told The Associated Press that there’s no odor because the waste is contained.
Having a wedding or any “special event” at the center costs $2,000 for eight hours. The money goes toward environmental education programs.
