House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., had harsh words for her former colleague and Democratic New York Mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner saying today his behavior was “reprehensible” and “so disrespectful of women.”

Pelosi also invoked the name of San Diego Mayor Bob Filner, a Democrat who has been beset by accusations of sexual harassment and publicly apologized for "inappropriate" behavior with women in his office.

The top House Democrat said of Weiner and Filner that “what's really stunning about it, they don't even realize it, they don't have a clue.”

Stopping short of calling for Weiner to drop out of the race or Filner to resign, Pelosi hinted that if they needed therapy, the therapy should be done outside the public eye.

“In his case and Mayor Filner, clearly they have both admitted they need therapy that would better be accomplished in private.”
