Shooting targets reminiscent of Trayvon Martin sold online

ThinkProgress reported that an individual from Virginia sold targets for shooting practice that were meant to cash in on the media frenzy surrounding the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin who was shot in February.

Martin, who was unarmed, was wearing a hoodie and carrying snacks back to the house he was staying at when he was shot by George Zimmerman. Zimmerman has claimed self-defense, but public protests have expressed outrage over the shooting of an unarmed teenager.

The shooting range target is composed of a black hoodie - with the bullseye on the chest - and the figure is clasping what appears to be an iced tea and a bag of skittles - the same snacks carried by Martin the night he was killed.
