Arizonans Brace for Heavy Snow Amid Winter Storms
El Nino arrives in Arizona, bringing heavy snow to parts of the state.
Snow blankets Flagstaff, Ariz. on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Earlier today the National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for snow from 11 a.m. Thursday through 5 p.m. Friday above 5,000 feet.

Bicycles are covered in snow on the Northern Arizona University campus in Flagstaff. Flagstaff has received 12.6 inches of snow since Tuesday evening, local media reported.
