The U.S. State Department has produced a video featuring the diversity of U.S. Olympians called "We Are All Athletes." The video showcases athletes participating in the Winter Olympics and the Paralympics, both of which are being held in Sochi, Russia.

But the video also show everyday Americans in an effort to promote "diversity, social inclusion, sportsmanship, and teamwork." The video was produced in English, with alternate versions in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Chinese.

Despite the uplifting video, the State Department has expressed some reservations regarding the Sochi games. Earlier this month, it issued a travel alert warning all Americans planning to visit Russia for the games to be on the alert for poential terror threats and crime. The alert specified public transportation in Russia as a vulnerable area, and also cautioned that medical care in the host country could not be relied upon.
