Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place June 10 through June 14 this year. As usual, it will be held in San Francisco and bring us the latest news about iOS and OS X.
“Our developers have had the most prolific and profitable year ever, and we’re excited to show them the latest advances in software technologies and developer tools to help them create innovative new apps," Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, said in a press release issued by the Cupertino-based company. "We can’t wait to get new versions of iOS and OS X into their hands at WWDC.”
During last year's WWDC, Apple unveiled some fresh new MacBooks, OS X Mountain Lion, iOS 6, and enough sales and usage statistics to keep us crunching numbers for days. This year's event follows remarks by Apple CEO Tim Cook, suggesting that Apple will explore "new product categories" which it will "introduce this fall and throughout 2014." Sounds like the most exciting things may not be revealed in June.
