These are the official test results for the Honda that Dateline NBC used in the "Fast money" story. Dateline had the car tested at Service and Compliance Research Services in Plainfield, N.J., an EPA sanctioned lab. These tests are part of the the same testing that the EPA does for new cars to test their gas mileage. We has the car tested before and after the device was installed.
After the HAFC was installed, we got no increase in miles per gallon with the device on, and a slight increase with the device turned off. There was no difference in emissions.
