Three people were rescued from a capsized boat off the Florida Keys on Wednesday, the Coast Guard said.
The boaters, two men and a woman, were found standing on top of the underside of their boat, which capsized off Islamorada, in Monroe County, Florida. They did not have life jackets on, although there were life jackets in the boat that they couldn't access in time, the Coast Guard said in a news release.
A swell caused the boat to tip over. The stranded people were rescued after a good Samaritan saw the flare the put out and called the Coast Guard.
There were no reports of injuries. No other information was immediately provided.
