A Nevada mother of two, who disappeared nearly a month ago, has been located safe and is in no danger, authorities announced Tuesday night.
Kristy Porter, 28, was located by detectives Tuesday, according to the Sparks Police Department. Few details are available in the case, but officials said Kristy told them she voluntarily did not return home.
Family members reported the mother-of-two missing after she did not return home from a fundraising event on November 11, 2016 , at the Peppermill Casino in Reno, Nevada. Paul Porter, Kristy's husband, told Dateline his wife was supposed to take a cab to the family's home, but never arrived. When he came home, Kristy's uncle, who was watching the couple's children, had not seen her.
