Local sponsors and supporters of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) will preside over the NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell ceremony in celebration of the 45th annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon on Labor Day weekend.
Appearances will be made by WWOR My9 Anchor Brenda Blackmon and Sports Anchor Russ Salzberg, both of whom will host the 2010 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon.
NASDAQ has joined with MDA to promote the Telethon for several years. The Telethon will originate live from the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas on Sept. 5-6, and can be seen locally on WWOR, My9 beginning at 9 p.m. ET on Sept. 5.
