COLUMBIA, Md. and COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 23, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Integral Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:ISYS) announced today that its Integral Systems Service Solutions (IS3) business unit has significantly expanded its management team to address growing customer demand for its Global Managed Network Services. Cliff Lewis has been promoted to Vice President and will lead IS3's newly created Commercial Services Division (CSD). Mark Hayes has joined IS3 as Vice President, Strategic Business Development, and will focus primarily on expanding the business unit's government customer base. Messrs. Lewis and Hayes will report directly to Ernie Dickens, Vice President and General Manager of IS3.

In his new role, Mr. Lewis will be responsible for developing and executing IS3's current and future service offerings to the commercial market with a focus on new growth areas, including technical services, network and systems solutions for telecommunications, broadcast and cable/Multi-System Operator (MSO) communities. He will continue to lead engineering and operations functions for IS3. Mr. Lewis brings more than 18 years of commercial telecom and networking experience, having served previously in various technical management positions with AT&T, US West/Qwest and Comcast, as well as providing technical leadership for Verizon's national video deployment.
As Vice President, Strategic Business Development, Mr. Hayes will work with senior management to ensure IS3's financial objectives are being met. He brings more than 30 years experience working with commercial space systems and the defense industries. Prior to joining IS3, Mr. Hayes held executive management and business development roles with ITT and Stanford Telecom. He brings extensive technical, sales, management and business development experience to the team.
