SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 16, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Diamond Foods, Inc. (Nasdaq:DMND) announced today that its Diamond of California® culinary nut brand is teaming up with Nestle® Toll House® morsels, Nestle® Carnation® milks, and Glad® plastic wraps and food storage products for an exciting holiday promotion entitled "Simply Delicious Holiday."

The partnership features simple, easy holiday recipes that are great for gift giving and incorporate all four partner brands. The promotion will be supported by national print, in-store displays, and on-line at DiamondNuts.com. The website will be home to an interactive recipe application where consumers can discover new holiday recipes that are easy to make and encourage more holiday baking. Through this recipe application, consumers will select their favorite type of Diamond nuts followed by their favorite type of Nestle Toll House morsels. Based on these choices, a delicious holiday recipe is presented and available for printing.
