Police said a 30-year-old man is accused of theft and damage to a 40-foot limousine bus after they found his jeans and wallet in the bathroom.

The owner of Leisure Limousine Service noticed the $80,000 vehicle was missing from the lot at 9 a.m. Saturday. It had been parked with keys in the console just a few hours before, according to the police report.

Around noon, the bus was found near 13th and F streets with damage to the bathroom, scratches along the passenger side and a missing hubcap, police said.

Officers said they found a pair of jeans and a wallet with an ID left in the bathroom. According to Lincoln police, the ID led officers to Steven Hunter, who had been on the bus the night before.

Investigators said Hunter had passed out in the bathroom during the party and woke up to find that he was locked in the bus.

Police said they found Hunter at Heidelberg's North on Saturday night.

Hunter was cited on suspicion of criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
