A Paso Robles man wanted for firing a gun at a car is now facing several other charges after leading officers on a chase through three local cities, according to the California Highway Patrol.

It all started around 9:45 Sunday night near Highway 46 West and Highway 101. A CHP officer tried to pull over a man on a Harley Davidson motorcycle for a traffic stop, but he kept going.

Officers say the suspect continued southbound on Highway 101 through Atascadero, then took Highway 41 toward Morro Bay.

In the end, officers say Brian Dill, 28, got his motorcycle stuck in the sand near Morro Rock. Officers arrested him, but not before they found an illegally altered shotgun and two daggers on him. Officers say Dill was also under the influence of a controlled substance.

Officers say Dill was wanted in Atascadero for firing a gun into a vehicle earlier in the day. He was booked into jail on $100,000 bail.
