Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Oral Roberts all placed teams in the NCAA Division I Baseball Regionals on Monday.

OSU (37-22), winner of the Big 12 baseball tournament, will be the No. 2 seed in the Tallahassee, Fla., regional hosted by Florida State (42-20), winner of the Atlantic Coast Conference title.

The Cowboys will take on Central Florida (44-16), which received an at-large bid, in the opening game Friday afternoon. FSU and Bethune-Cookman (27-26), winner of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, will play the second game that evening.

"This is a tough regional and we are glad to be in," coach Frank Anderson said. "Regardless of where we go we are excited about still playing.

"Central Florida has outstanding pitching and if our pitching can hang in there, it should be a pretty good matchup."

Oklahoma (37-22) is hosting the Oklahoma City regional at the SBC Bricktown Ballpark.

Central Connecticut State (41-15-1), Northeast Conference champ, will play Florida (40-20) Friday afternoon, followed by the Sooners' match with UCLA (33-27).

Oral Roberts (48-9) is seeded second in the Austin, Texas, regional hosted by Texas (50-13).

The Golden Eagles, winners of the Mid-Continent Conference tournament, will take on Texas Christian (38-24) in the first game.

Youngstown State (22-30) will play the Longhorns in the nightcap.
