Press Release Names Charlie Tillinghast General Manager and Publisher
Tillinghast to continue growth of online news leader, a leader in breaking news and original journalism on the Internet, today appointed Charlie Tillinghast Publisher and General Manager.

Tillinghast, a longtime senior executive, will provide both operational and strategic leadership in his new role.

In addition to managing’s day-to-day business operations, Tillinghast will set and direct’s business priorities, manage the company’s editorial organization and oversee new technology development.

An early member of the management team, Tillinghast joined the company in 1999 as its Business Development Manager, before becoming Senior Director of Sales & Business Development followed by Vice President of that department. Under his management, advertising sales have grown 40% in the past year.

Prior to joining, Tillinghast held business development and sales positions in the software, semiconductor and health care industries.  He holds a MBA from Harvard Business School, a bachelors degree in American Civilization from Brown University, and attended The Wharton School’s executive education program on leadership.  Additionally, Tillinghast serves on the Board of Trustees of Albertson College of Idaho.
