Cruz: "Inflicting" Transgender Student on Teachers Better Than Peers

Ted Cruz on Wednesday suggested that "inflicting" a local high school transgender student "on the teachers is probably better than sticking him in the shower with the teenage girls." Cruz was responding to a woman at his Spirit Lake campaign stop who brought up an incident in which she described as a transgender student’s desire to use a different shower.
