An accidental pocket dial to 911 busted up an underage drinking party and put seven young people in hot water with Wisconsin cops.
A 911 dispatcher sent officers to check in on a home after a call came in with unintelligible loud noise at about 4:00 a.m. (5:00 a.m. ET) on Tuesday, according to Nathan Zuelke, a patrol officer with the Rothschild Police Department.
He said that officers found a house party underway and discovered that the 911 call had come from a reveler whose phone had dialed police from their pocket. There were two 18-year-olds, two 19-year-olds and three 20-year-olds present, Zuelke added. He said all seven received citations for underage drinking.
