Downed lines on Sanford Street left the road closed and area residents unable to leave their homes after a storm brought several inches of wet snow in Bangor, Maine. A rare early season snowstorm brought 50-miles-per-hour winds and record-breaking snowfall to parts of Maine overnight, leaving more than 140,000 homes and businesses without power on Monday.
